Previously only used by the military and racers, polyurethane bushes did not become widely available until the 1990's. As they don’t rot or deteriorate, they often outlast the vehicle they’re put on. For anyone looking to upgrade their suspension, poly bushes are a great choice. Here’s how poly stacks up against rubber:
POLYTORQ Polyurethane Bushes. We have a reputation for producing the highest of quality Polyurethane Bushes for a variety of vehicles. We design, manufacture and sell direct to both the public and trade. State of the art production helps keep our prices low and manufacturing quality high.
Our processing system utilises the high performance qualites of a TDi grade of polyurethane. the finished product is more than ten times stronger than rubber
The key difference between MDI and TDI is that MDI occurs as a light yellow crystalline solid, whereas TDI occurs as a clear, colourless to pale yellow colour liquid.
MDI and TDI are two different forms of diisocyanates. These are useful in polyurethane production. the stronger being TDi, lending itself to automotive applications
